The BOP needs to be 15,000 PSI rated. psi81 didn't say they couldn't move/use the rig, he just said it (and other potentially suitable rigs in Australia) would need BOP upgrades and it is likely that they booked out already due to existing demand, and that even if Santos had access to a suitable rig, that they are likely to have other cheaper and/or higher probability-of-success targets that they would direct their attention to first.
Your inference that psi81 doesn't have real knowledge is misleading to other readers of this forum. I have never thought one of his posts on CTP regarding technical matters was misinformed, misleading, or biased. In my opinion he is the most valuable technical poster on the CTP threads and I hope he sticks around! I always read his posts carefully and pay attention to the detail provided.
