Tallmantim nice summary...so if this is such a good deal why has the share bottomed out to 9.8cents...i have been sitting on the sideline for a couple of months with a view to purchasing...the deal seems to me to be very tricky...what value do u put on the CVI share at the moment and going forward over the next 6 months...
I spoke with him about this. My view - which he concurred with - and that I mentioned above I think is that is something looks too good to be true, it most often is.
Angolans have agreed to 30 cents per share - so you would get a 3+ bagger for holding until early next year - and then receive further appreciation as the resources are firmed up etc. Blue sky potential in a year of $2+ (ie a 20 bagger).
There are always risks however - as I mentioned elsewhere if we lose favour with the Angolans before deals are signed off we are royally screwed.
