We will explain the disclosure of SK Innovation by Chinese battery companies (EVE).2019.09.27
● Eve Energy Co., Ltd., a Chinese battery manufacturer on 26 July, the society announced that it had passed a resolution on the construction of a joint battery production facility for electric vehicles with SK Innovation.
● Through this announcement, EVE Energy announced that its own or its subsidiary, EVE Asia Co., Ltd., will enter into a joint management agreement with SK Innovation. EVE Energy (or EVE Asia) will have $5.25 billion in cash, and the two companies will hold a 50% stake in the joint venture.
● According to EVE Energy, the joint venture plans to build a battery production plant in China with a range of 20 to 25 GWh levels, and the production product will be supplied to the finished product company in the global market, including China.
● SK Innovation agreed to invest KRW 579.9 billion in May for the establishment of a new battery manufacturing plant in China.
