@johndone My sentiment is based on publicly available information and the assumption that there is no insider information i.e. the market is fully informed.
Zackly is a skarn and the likely source is Saturn. It appears that there have been at least four mineralising events at Saturn. PXX has many slides in its presentation decks showing this. There are lots of examples of 0.2-0.3%Cu porphyries around the world suggesting they are single mineralising events. The most recent drilling at Zackly showed two ~50m intersections grading ~3g/t Au & 0.6%Cu. So hopefully this reflects something about Saturn, at least two or three mineralising events as shown by the Cu grade with higher than normal Au grade for a porphyry.
Various geophysics techniques suggests a large 3km deep anomaly. There's a video showing an interpretation of these surveys. It appears to be 2bt or more in size. If by some great stroke of luck it graded 0.6%Cu & say 1g/t Au then PXX is worth $1Bn+ for it share of the JV. The prize is BIG!
Lundin geos have seen this info and the company has put money into PXX to fund a 5000m drilling program to to see if the rocks are altered in a way that confirms the geophysics. That's all Lundin is looking for, alteration, not necessarily the disovery hole. Of course we're all hoping for a discovery but I was just stating what the hurdle is for Lundin to commit to a JV. The SP is barely above the price that Lundin paid and I would put its geos in the expert category. Hiistory also shows Lundin management know what a good prospect looks like. So 8.2c looks a bargain to me.
@10 you know all of this. There is nothing remotely new here.
I contacted the company this week. I was told there was an announcement planned for next week. It was very matter-of-fact and there was no hint of whether it was good or bad news, as you would expect.
So, DYODD as the fact are all there. It just needs your own interpretation and daring to dream!
