Hi Sal- my first thought is that even if our friends are successful* or if the current state of play continues ( extension of the existing arrangement ), that the stated ambition of SK may well require more than one new source anyway.

Adding to that is their potential desire for a greater variety of minerals, depending on just how much of the energy capture chain ( starting with the sun and wind & ending in a battery ), they wish to compete in.

The Solar City ( Elon Musk using Tesla funds to basically bail his brother in law out of trouble ), debacle just rolls on so it looks like they won’t worry anyone too greatly in the solar market & so there is still space to compete/innovate there**

To be completely frank the little voice inside tells me no single mine will satisfy every demand stream in all ways. Most deposits will be needed over time so we’re only ever really discussing our thoughts on how each deposit is being managed.


*As we all hope they do succeed so let’s not fear anyone who gets upset by commentary ( that includes phrases such as ‘all the best with it’ ), on that issue. Any shareholder over the fence would by the most basic logic have no problem with such discussion.
**Solar roofing in particular.

The VW Golf like EV coming out is going to really shake things up in my opinion. We’ve all been way ahead of the curve & waiting for a car that the average- & even slightly below average- income household will be happy with has been what’s held us all back.

Lastly we must note that by the terms of their LFA offer ( or whatever document it was- I’m not one to worry about wrong on minutiae, as long as I get the gist of what’s going on ), that the junior space may very well look quite different come Tuesday morning.

Either way it will be good for our friends- an instant boost or the regaining of the freedom to pursue or be pursued by other groups & knowing that their holders want to see money on the table.

Being reasonable & polite is a given but to be cowed in to silence is not helpful to any company or body of shareholders. It may satisfy an individual or small group but I say no.

All our ( Aussie juniors- not just ARL ), deposits will be needed at some point in time so for me the whole ‘we are the only hope for the planet’ thing has just been silly- even we here with more minerals than others combined ( both in variety & resource size ), have never said that.
