What a lot of rubbish by Hewson. He is still dirty because Costello ripped him apart on Television in the tally room for losing the unloseable election to Keating. All because he couldn't explain the GST.
Costello didn't challenge Howard because he wouldn't have won. That is where the party stuffed up. He should have been given his chance to show the people what he was made of as leader.
He had the chance to lead in opposition and declined. Why would he step up now?
He will wait to see if Labor stuff up and if there is a chance before next election. I reckon we wouldn't see him in the leadership roll until 12 months out of election if at all.
I said a long while back that Julie Bishop is being groomed if she wants it. Turnbul...ok..if we have to, but not Abbott...please not Abbott.
