No not 12 years but the earths enviroment & resources will be slowly but surely depleted. Every other species on this planet lives within the confines of its natural habitat except humans. The green house effect is a well understood science. Emit CO2 into a confined space & it retains more heat. It's pretty simple. Irrespective of the belief that climate change is real or not the risk of NOT doing something is just too high. Remains to be seen if humans are capable of making the necessary changes though. My guess is unlikely.
