The alternative? Good Lord, Head! There is an infinite number of alternatives! Infinite! Going for a walk around the block is but one, reading a good book is another, visiting a mate is another still, scouring the world's newspapers on the net is also another, listening to Mozart or The Who, ditto, listening to the world's radio stations on the net ads to your possibilities... going to the cinema, the theatre, reading the ABC "Unleashed" blog is a fantastic alternative. I'd rather chew razor blades than watch a TV programme as mind-numbing as that! Write a letter to a long lost relative... write a poem, write a novel, write a play... Endless, endless possibilities!
