Ruby, I have been reading that exact site. Regarding Rose of Denmark it was obviously one of the big operations of its day.
From 1893-97 it returned 3620oz from 2026t. It closed in 1925. All the mines MCO has are mentioned in this fascinating read. Would recommend it to all interested in the gold history of the area.
A1 seems to be the other big one of that time- is that held by GDR?
