I would not have said a "prominent UK bank". A leading, niche bank, concentrating on UK small and mid-sized companies, I can agree with.
Most of Durlacher's focus is towards the leisure, financial services, technology, health, engineering, media, resources and support services' sectors.
Durlacher's research is reasonable, but they were burnt badly during the dot com era, and more recently by the bio-tech flatline.
Yet again, I find the -45% figure fascinating, given that UBS Warburg first mooted a 40% decline in September 2002 (in Australia, and speculated that similar could occur in the UK). Similarly, The Economist did much the same 6+ months ago.
