    Thanks Kam,

"Baha'u'llah has offered in His Revelation a vision for humanity that transcends significantly what was thought possible for the human race collectively, or the individual human being, to achieve at the time of His Revelation.

His vision for Humanity may well "transcends significantly what was thought possible for the human race "
but that vision does not correspond with reality, unless the same open ended time span is invoked as per all the myriad "second coming of Jesus" claims that are so popular and equally unrelated to reality.

"By advancement of human consciousness is meant the forging of a pathway that enables a person to envision what might be possible for the human condition."

There are many ideas and systems related to the "human condition" that would not regard the term "human consciousness " as a definition or even factor in their proposal for advancement.

So in regard to consciousness we must define what is meant by "human". Are you talking about humanity or a human ?
"Humanity consciousness" is relative and entirely dependent on the sum of individual human consciousness and the needs of greater powers.

Unless the Baha'i initiatives are a direct result of individual conscious understanding, they will be just another "social system" and subject to the laws of all social systems .. in this present age not a good outlook.

Has this necessity for individual "consciousness" been lost already in Baha'i ?
