At the moment, the market is seeing Immutep as a penny dreadful speculative micro biotech. We are the traders plaything more or less.

We are not meeting the investment criteria of many boutique wealth funds and financial institutions. The same reason why not many micro penny biotech have ever been taken over by those giants.

As penny dreadful, we are not meeting the investment criteria of many boutique wealth funds and financial institutions. Believe it or not, having them onboard would raise our profile and market capital to the level that could meet the take over criteria.

As a former share holder of VLA, I recalled in January 2018, a reputable life science group from HK took a placement of $30mil for 13% of Viralytics equity at 27% premium to the market trading ($0.82). The following month Merck announced the $0.52billion takeover. Many holders were discussed the potential issue of insider trading, but some suggested that Merck’s TO was triggered by the potential competition by that institutional placement event.

Do it what you feel like it. I am not here to hold anybody hands or giving advice to hold, but I stick to my conviction to see $1 post consolidation to trigger any takeover by our giant partners.

Capital consolidation is never a good news when you are dealing with micro cap, and we might see the trading stagnation between 2.3c-2.5c for a while yet.
