    Hi Copperbod,

One must remember that there were hardly any Christians in the first two centuries from its inception. There are more Baha'is now after 170 years than there were Christians and the Baha'i Faith is growing through heart to heart connection, not through the sword, or through forced state religion conversion. There is a slogan someone made about the Baha'i Faith once "uniting the world, one heart at a time"

Naturally, then, these things will take time, but momentum builds as the example of a global Baha'i community emerges out of obscurity.

A relative few may but the overwhelming majority won't because that's not "their" religions.

We are currently having our youth camp here in Perth, where youth from various neighbourhoods come together for a week to study Baha'i materials relating to community transformation, social action and youth empowerment. 10% of the participants are Muslims and will remain so at the end of the camp, but will have a newfound and uplifting awareness of their own religions aspirations for how love, justice, respect and generosity looks like at the community level. This is just in Perth, where materialism is the main challenge preventing youth participation. In developing countries, the figures for youth participants from various religious backgrounds is much higher.
This may still be a "relative few" in your view, I don't know, but I sure as heck won't be able to curb your pessimism. You are entitled to it
But your pessimism will never curb my enthusiasm. Every single heart transformed is a victory for humanity, and I'm honoured to offer my tiny contribution to it

    Kam
