Robo the end of the 'get big or get out' adage is here. Cheap money - gone! Cheap inputs - gone! Cheap machinery - gone! So long as oil and gas get more expensive the trend will be the opposite of what cheap oil drove. Farms will only get smaller from here on in. The rural setting will be repopulated because there will be more work than in the cities in areas that do not have other resource bases. Interesting times ahead. I'd rather be out bush than in a city full of declining asset values and rising costs.
