Economies are cyclical anyway. The PHD's at the Fed must be a bunch of numbskulls if they think they can hold back the tide.

There are about 400 PhD's work at the Federal Reserve, and I'm absolutely certain they've got a better grip on economics than a bunch of conspiratorial goldbugs who 'stack' gold bars in their safes and wait very patiently for the economic system to implode.
