SP, I did read somewhere stating that the Chinese only galvanize 5% of steel production whereas the developed countries (eg US / Europe) are above 30%.
Short cuts are being taken by the developing nations no doubt to accommodate the sky rocketing Iron Ore prices which are compounding at almost 50% pa for the last few years.
