To all those posters contributing to the Clandestine 3D conspiracy theories in the Gambia.
With seismic vessels often containing up to 12km of streamers, it is only common sense that these vessels need a VERY VERY large turning circle to come off one 3D line and line up straight and parallel to the previous line so as not to make one almighty tangled mess.
If you are shooting up to the Senegal/Gambia border you will need to turn in Gambian waters. The turning radius can exceed 20km in some circumstances.Not complicated.
Do yourselves a favor and educate yourselves a little bit before sprouting off BS.
