Banks in Australia have been losing their popularity for the last 40 years then came the RC, and many more people being in contact with the banks have found their weak spots, 50 years ago the only people who had regular contact with their bank were business people
I wold think that many people put money under the bed because there is no point in having it in the bank for almost zero interest
