Yeah, there's a lot of excited puffery around a company that's, ummn, functioning as a *normal* company here. I for one think a period of mediocrity from Joel and Bane would be an improvement, but I'm amazed at how excited people can get when a company with dozens of employees and a 6 MILLION DOLLAR BURN PER QUARTER announces that it managed to sell its product to someone. Anyone!
Given the resources GSW has they can throw a team of developers at every project and provide artificially cheap services in order to build the appearance of traction, but until there is material revenue reflected in a 4C these announcements don't mean that much. Isn't this obvious? If there's no requirement to make more money from deals than you spend on getting them, anyone can generate impressive-sounding activity.
