It's like any commodity and I would assume there will be many players.
1:Can I ask you how many companies can produce lithium carbonate to the highest purity we can?
2: Please name them all
3: What is the demand that needs to be met? and who are the companies that can ramp up production to meet these demands and more?
There are lots of assumptions flung around out there - but what are the real facts.
Many people and companies spruking we have way too much LI in the market. Stockpiles blah blah blah
Is there really or are we meeting demand- almost? What the quality of the battery and it's chemicals. Cheap LI with low grade purity = batteries that run out of grunt after a year? Who understands the difference?
How many people in the industry and it's peripherals truly know how much LI there is out there?
Look at the latest greatest bullsheiter that pushed the industry down by publishing crap only to buy up more at lower prices.
Seems to me that the true state of this industry wont be know until game on and every man and his dog will be scrambling for batteries and the true test I am thinking will be told by the wait time on cars ordered and by the likes of AGY and how many customers it has.
We already have one. A BIG one.
