Interesting scenario about to play out here I think.
Chairman buys 3m shares and then the company goes into a trading halt?
As I see it, the halt will be for one of three reasons:
1. to announce a new business deal, but the Chairman would not be permitted to buy just beforehand as he presumably is privy to such matters?
2. for a corporate deal, but it must be a surprise to all, as the Chairman would not be permitted to buy beforehand again as he would have been privy to discussions.
3. from the ASX regarding compliance?
