I do not think Transurban will attempt a take over...just look at their current debt levels...they don't need more debt.
I think that as the Edington report now under consideration by the state goverment will endorse the much needed east west cross tunnel and I reckon connect east will be given the job to build it based on their passed amazing completion of Eastlink.....Think about it ....kinda makes sense doesn't it !
