No I was not referring to south east asian inflation being a factor in pushing up gold - I was saying that inflation is rampant in the world. My best example are the double digits of SE asia. Understand they are coming off a low base but the main problems stem from a peg to US dollar.
Prices of base metals are not really causing too much grief to inflation beacuse of their abundance - the inflation problems I see are from food and Oil. (copper exemption)
And also the real killer is the M2 money supply - that is going to be the real problem down the road.
You just cannot keep printing money with no real productivity gains - it is unsustainable.
