What are you saying ctindale, that at current prices ANZ is NOT a good investment choice for someone willing to hold for the medium/long term? Are you saying that if I buy now and am happy to hold for 10, 20 or even 30 years, I still will be losing out???

My suggestion is that you have a clear view what your plan is with the stock when you buy it - taking into account all eventualities.

You stated you wanted to buy at $17.90 and sell out for a quick trade in the $19 range. You also said you would hold until it got back to $17.90 - you are pretty much there today so well done. Just make sure that you stick to your plan!

Don't second guess what your thinking was a couple of days ago because it looks strong today. You may miss out on some extra movement, but you would kick yourself (as I have done many a time) if you don't follow through and it turns hard against you.

Unless you're Buffett, a 10-30 year buy and hold strategy is unrealistic for most.

Well you've been saying the exact same thing constantly over the last week and the SP has rallied 10%.

Ctindale first recommended it as a sell here - when the share price was $22.81. So even if the share price closes at $18 or above, it is still more than 20% below the price when he first called it.

From a technical standpoint, ANZ looks like a decent buy right now - stochastics, trend and RSI all trending upwards.
