Climate change is not a democracy nor is it is a voting system - right or left. If one scientist finds something that is true, and it is not refuted by any of his/her peers (or even discussed), it does not matter how many parties disagree, that scientist is still right.
Galileo was in a 3% minority when he suggested the earth went around the sun, he was placed under house arrest for refusing to toe the line . Back then, if you had just sided with the majority and ignored what many scientists were saying, you'd have been on the wrong side of history.
