Yes, hashtagyoyo I like that hash. One the biggest traps in spec stock investing is that of falling in love with the stock. When I first look to take a position in an ASX spec stock I generally have no idea of the business the stock is in. Unfortunately with spec stocks I have this drive to find out what they do. Hence my use of HC. Generally I'll look for posts that do critiques of the companies Management and BOD, their remuneration model and history etc., and the company's working capital figures as I hate surprise CRs. Then I make a decision to buy or not. And then I keep on reminding myself that the objective is not to be right with every spec bet. The objective is to make a profit.
