Because they can't, it is not in their make-up.

The loaded to the eye teeth quote from "The Conversation" is an example of how the socialist 'hive' mindset is only about winning and power.

We need an alternative, something like "The Honest Conversation", where dissenting views are also published. However, as history has shown, that can never be allowed to happen as it dooms the power seekers to failure. Much better to send the dissenters (or even those thinking of dissenting or even worse designated as a likely dissenter due to other disparate views) to the gulags.
