So it was with the 1990's - some commentators were tauting no more than 1% growth ever again. Yeah they will come off their highs but will not plunge. Prices won't do much for 5-8 years and watch it all go again. Just remember what happens this time so that you can remind gen Z+1 you've seen it all before. Prepare for a history lesson - seen this 4/5/times in different parts of the world - yawn.
In Australia affordability comes up to meet housing - prices don't go the other way historically and emotionally the vast majority of owners will hold rather than sell at an exhorbitant loss .
