Why does the company need a two day trading halt before the announcement?

Unfortunately previous 'good news' announcements have lifted the sp only 4-5% in recent times. AGO needs a lot more than that given its smashing the past 6 weeks.

I cant help wishing the trading halt was called tommorrow, the sp most likely would have surged today given the performamce of the market. Even better would have been for the trading halt to have come yesterday and prevented that 14% fall.
