you are correct, "the invective and unsubstantiated claims" that Trump makes on a daily basis are unbelievable
but what's more unbelievable is the willingness of Trump followers to blindly accept them
and when Trump makes the opposite claims the next day, Trump followers accept those without breaking step
there is at least another doctorate in trying to explain such mindless behaviour
