yes mrmuzz. i heard that he and don burke have a relationship....

I notice keating only attempts to insult men better than himself...that includes Dr Mahathir.

Yes Imperial ...it is well known about his sexual proclivities.

It is also well known that "sarcasm is the lowest form of wit."

Shakespeare would have summed up Paul Keating very well:

"Such a man as he, never be at mind's ease, while ever they behold one greater than themselves." (from Julius Caezar)

His comments about our Country being the "arse end of the world" and a "banana republic", might have sounded funny to some people ...but were untrue, gave a false derogatory impression of our great Country, were embarrassing us to the whole world, were a low-life form of wit ...and were at best a great shame upon Paul Keating himself.

Subsequently, he gave us the "Recession" he thought "we had to have". I mean ...people actually swallowed his directional leadership like lemming dupes.

His sexual proclivities, led him away from a beautiful wife and children ...also misled him to criticise men who were greater than himself, such as Peter Costello and John Howard ...who led us up through some of the best 10 years of prosperous stable Aussie Govt we have ever had.

Now, we are seeing a loss of confidence in Australia at percentage levels unseen in over 15 years ...with a Treasurer and PM ...glib with the gift of the gab ...but lacking substance ...and naively leading our blessed Nation into paths of foolishness, that are already damaging our economy, and making us a laughingstock in the eyes of other nations.

Marketinfo said it very succinctly above:

"Most people that resort to personal insults as opposed to criticising the actions of others usually do so because they have nothing else to say that is relevant to the discussion/debate.

Given that Paul Keating resorted to personal insult more often than not, it makes you wonder why he could not find it in himself to show humility and debate the point at hand, perhaps his verbosity was only hiding his ignorance.

Paul Keating for all his strengths and foresight was his own worst enemy. Not disciplined enough to curb his language and not smart enough to stay in power.

"Makes your wonder why anyone would like a bully, then again they say people are attracted to types like themselves."

Burnett, also above on this thread, put it very well:

"Cheating (Keating) carries on like he ran the country for 20yrs - he only lasted approx. 4yrs as PM."

Yes, Paul Keating was a disgrace as a politician, a bad public example, a smart aleck shallow Prime Minister who furthered the homosexual causes, and through his sarcasm proved to thinking people, that sarcasm really is the expression of low life forms.

    Warm regards,
    Mr Muzz
