Alexium customers launch chemical furnishing treatment

Specialty chemicals manufacturer Alexium International (ASX: AJX) is to debut new uses for its flame retardants in the
bedding industry at an upcoming show in the United States.
CEO Bob Brookins said products incorporating the company’s Alexicool fire retardant would be displayed at the upcoming
Las Vegas bedding show.
The company also produces Alexiflam flame retardant for synthetic and synthetic-blend fabrics, and cotton and cotton-blends.
Brookins announced in a market update that the development of this product for nylon/cotton fabrics for US military uses
had been successful.
