and Harvey Norman saw a strong future for Retravision but ended up converting them to HV stores or closing them down. And blockbuster saw that they still had a strong future in their stores and toy’r’us saw that they had a strong store business rather than develop more online. There is still a place for travel shops and hays are probably smart if they just bought those and online parts of TC. All I know is I’d rather put my future earnings in Webjet type business than a TC or Flight centre business ... although I think Flight centre will still do well because of the founder but webjet better returns over the long haul.
