great idea.
I can imagine aru going into production with alot of help from us.
How-a-bout a scenario:

All offers are 1 option per 2 share holding, as at given date in '08, issued now, for each of the 4 years, as follows:
First option issue (Expires Oct 2008) = 80 mil @ $0.50c = $40 mil;
Second option issue (Expires Oct 2009) = 80 mil @ $1.00 = $80 mil;
Third issue (Ex. Oct 2010) = 80 mil @ $1.50 = $120 mil;
Fourth issue (Ex. Oct 2011) = 80 mil @ $2.00 = $160 mil.

Gives a total income of $400 mil.
Great starting place, but may be we're dreaming a little.

Has this been done before?
Is it possible / legal?
Is it a feasible suggestion?
