this dude was the one who was buying all the CRs from 2015 and is the biggest SH of AAR... I am ok with him having a seat on the board... always good to have different perspective on the board...
while JJ is the main driver, he does things at his own pace... this large SH probably wants a "faster" pace or focus which he feels JJ lacks... so by being on the board, he can put his word in at the round table and not just during an annual meeting where the board can "show that they are listening" but go back to their merry old ways...
BTW, there is a huge ICEBERG seller of almost 800K shares on 10.5c - was visible yesterday during the pre-open... here is the screenshot - could be nothing of note or could be something related... who knows..
