Montréal, Canada: Anvil Mining Limited (TSX, ASX: AVM) will release its first quarter results for the period ended June 30, 2008 prior to TSX opening market on Tuesday August 12, 2008 and a conference call will be held at 8:30 a.m. (EST - North American time) on the same day, coinciding with 8:30 p.m. (AWST – Australia, Perth time) Tuesday August 12, 2008 to discuss these results.
