My apologies, I am not intending to have the last say here, but a number of additional points:

1. Tont Locantro posts many articles in the public domain consequently can expect that his musings will be subject to review and unfortunately not everyone is going to agree with his style/comments.

2. Being a broker and being a resource/mining analyst are not one and the same thing. There are many outstanding resource analysts in the Aust mining industry and Tony Locantro (in my view) is not one of them.

3 Perhaps Tony Locantro has a niche as a broker/speculator that suits hotcopper type investors - he can identify resource stocks with the credentials to move in price. And maybe they do. It seems he has a following that suggests that this is what he is really good at.

I dont know the guy but have read the Green Room and a few of his articles.
