heres a thought, i got a letter in the mail from ASIC and ACCC yesterday as my business uses Humm and Brighte finance models, apparently they got mine and all other Australian businesses details from a register of business that use BNPL products, the letter was outlining some laws around BNPL and price manipulation prominently focusing on how its illegal to sell the same product for two different prices depending on the payment method some one chooses. Anything that disrupts or is a threat to the retail and in turn the banking sector in Australia, can bet that the government will be pressured into investigating.
Once UBS start rocking the boat and accumulating they can take control of the SP in conjunction with some of the other boys,
some of the easiest money they make is shaking the small guys in amount out of the market daily, i reckon they look for stocks with big volume and retail buyer interest and start shaking the tree. They'll stick around for years and disrupt the general direction of SP on announcement days!
it takes more than luck and a good preforming stock to make money on the asx! you need balls, big balls
