Would Pfizer or either of the Mercks be considered sharks? Cos somehow I can't imagine a AU$50K (US$34K) grant would be anywhere near enough to attract their notice?
as for dictionaries, I have a 2 volume Shorter Oxford and a single volume Collins (Aussie edition) amongst others. I've never had the urge to look up berley/chum in them. Of all the things I'd like to know in this life, and there are so many - that will never be one of them. Though I'll admit that if we ever get offered $3 or more SP, I'll be tempted to take your advice and perhaps buy the 20 volume Oxford (plus additions), I've long wanted one.
