production to 10 august

The latest update from NZ Oil & Gas indicates a reasonable week's production though presumably curtailed a bit with the storms earlier in that week.

Production Performance:

Oil Production since 1 July 2008:

Up to 10 August: Approx 1.45 million barrels. NZOG's share of production approx 180,000 barrels.

Production in FY08:

Approx 14.23 million barrels produced. NZOG's share of production approx 1.78 million barrels. (NB. Production began on 30 July 2007).

So that would indicate that from 3 Aug to 10 Aug (7 days) they have produced approx 250,000 barrels or close to an average of 35,700 barrels per day.
Probably indicates some slow down either for weather or for maintenance fiddling or whatever.

If you look at it from an average per day since 1 July to 10 Aug it represents 35,365 bopd but we know there were quite a few weather disruptions over that period and that in good days they still get about 43,000 bopd.

I would guess that so long as they get reasonable conditions they will still get about 1 million barrels produced during August.
