It would seem that the majority of anal-ist's are gauging their entire lithium supply/demand metric on EV take-up. Yes, they are anally fixated on EVs. All well and good to a point, but they forget what's happening in the BIG battery world of grids. For example: In New York the Edison company have just approved the construction of a 316 megawatt lithium storage battery, which can supply 250,000 homes with power for 8 hours, if required. Grids all over the world have seen battery cost drop to a cost efficient level, and are now regarded as a better option to provide flexibility in system surges.
AGAIN: This is happening all over the world. Q - how many EVs in a 316 megawatt battery? And how many grids?
