Do you think Platinum could be going any worse? Their performance against the indices now for everything (other than when you look from inception) is woeful. They are bleeding funds under management and I can see why.
I wonder how long Andrew Clifford will be around if the performance keeps up... I can only imagine Kerr Neilson looking back at his behemoth and wondering what is going on.
I am not sure how long investors will swallow the whole deviation between growth and value tag line. It seems to be wearing thin these days... especially given the overly simplified differentiation between the two.
True to form... I managed to buy into PMC and three of their unlisted funds at the worst possible time. Has been nice watching all the indices and passive funds go through the roof... whilst I sit on losses and active fees to boot.
Something has to give... I just wonder how much goodwill there is from long term holders to continue down this path.
I guess they can only stay true to their investment philosophy... even if it's completely out of favour with the market.
And here I was thinking it was better to stick to the classic model of fees rather than the performance based model
No pressure Clifford... but I think you could be seeing a lot more outflows if you don't start performing.
