@chilliam just by eye and a chart template mate..scanners cant quite pick up on all the details I`m looking for because the time frame for each candidate varies so much..you want to see the whole trade set up which can vary from a month to 3 or 4 months of price action, higher lows, 62% Fib resistance. 200day MA , moving average ribbon, daily and weekly MACDs etc etc..a vol scan above a 200 day MA is a good start though. and then filter that ...but basically you need to set up a template that works and eyeball it on top of that vol scan..it really only takes a few seconds to look at one and send it to the watch list or reject it.
