Sure, you don't crystallise your loss till you sell. But if you never sell you can lose a hell of a lot. Look at CBH - at 60c I thought it was going to be mining copper by now and be sweet for a downturn in zinc. I bailed at 40c and sweated the loss, but now I look like a doyen. PEM - in at $4 out at $3.16, felt like a fool, but now I'm feeling smarter than a lot of others.

BMN, I won't dare guess if this is as low as it goes, but I'd expect it won't go to 20c. But that doesn't mean no one should sell if they feel the willies - you might miss a rebound, but you never know if BMN is a PEM or something better.

It comes down to trust. IF you believe the story and trust management - and there's many reasons to believe and trust in BMN don't get me wrong - then you hold on and grit your teeth. But if you are lying awake at midnight worrying about it, then you should bail. Being wrong is better than being worried.

Or so I reckon.
