Having worked across Africa on various mine sites including the Simandou project, Guinea would have to be the worst country I've worked in. Poor infrastructure, dodgy government, constant labour related strikes the list goes on. Rio threw a lot of money on Simandou and ultimately got nowhere, even when they were spending like crazy the government still pulled blocks 1 and 2 from Rio.
IMO it would be a huge mistake for FMG to get involved.
