Almost all posts on here these days are being run by the cult and church of OBJ.
If your not heaping glowing praise on it, then the minions come out and hammer you down - hard. You have to sing the ODE to OBJ, less face the consequences.
They aren't stupid either. Its not outright insults, its calculated lines to smash anyone who dare doubt, and push the idea that anyone who isn't with them is against them, and that somehow they are just ramping or have a conspiracy plan in the works. The last thing OBJ's minions need is someone spreading the idea that OBJ isn't the magical messiah that its blind followers believe... they need people to believe everyone is against them, and the OBJ prophecy will one day come true... they believe in OBJ to their core, as demonstrated by voting to reward directors for total failure by reinstatement, and bizarrely granting them better remuneration which was already excessive, despite their total failure.
The result - anyone who express's any doubt in OBJ gets labelled as a schemer and a sinister planner, even when its just cold hard truth they are speaking.
That truth is that OBJ has been playing this same line for the last decade. Honestly, go back and read this forum from the same time of year in 2018,17,16,15 and more. Its all just the same story with a different title and varied story line. Its just history repeating itself. A flash new suit, new car, new driver.. but the some old story underneath.
OBJ cultists have been pushing the "big things are coming next quarter!!" idea for the past 40 quarters, and now that its been overplayed, its become "Next year is our year!"... 2020 huh? OK, Sure.... that very well could be the case, what with all these new plans, products and ideas going forward....
BUT..... that isn't much different to previous years when its was the same story, just with other products, people and plans.... back then people preached, "2015/16/17/18 is our year!".. it never came.... the only thing that came was more loss and more failure, year in, year out.
In the beginning, If it wasn't 3m, it was L'oreal or Gillette that would be the great saviour..... ...... Then when that failed and it wasn't going to be EM patches, it was going to be hair brushes/tooth brushes and white strips that would be the great saviour. ..... Then when that failed and it wasn't going to be GSK, it was P&G and Nitto Denko that would be the great saviour... ..... Then when it wasn't going to be domestic markets, it was going to be China, the USA and the world which would be the great saviour... ..... Then when they failed, and it wasn't going to be beauty creams, it was bodyguard that would be the great saviour... ..... And here we are now - if its not P&G any more, if its not bodyguard anymore, its now its Reduit.... Its just another in the long list of names keeping OBJ propped up and perpetually loosing money, whilst providing huge rewards to an utterly incompetent board and management team who face ZERO consequences for failure, and are backed by a fanatical set of cultist believers.
Many of the same people on here you see promoting this Reduit, are the very same ones who praised 3M, GSK, L'Oreal, Gillette, P&G and so many more as the path to millionaire-ship..... How quickly they cut their saviours loose to find another.
If its history continues to repeat itself, then by 2022/3 this "Reduit" will be dead, and another name will be in its place. The only people who will continue to make money is the BOD, most of which have likely taken multiple millions in reward each over the past decade .... how much has the average shareholder seen?
I've said it a million times before, and I'll say it again: without Consequences, this BOD does not, and never will give a flying frecking stuff about the company itself. Either they all need to go out the door on their butt, or they all need a massive salary ass-kicking and conditional performance appointments. Until then, Its a gravy train for the BOD, and OBJ will never be anything other than a perpetual "ready-for-de-listing" stock, always chasing dreams that never come true.
So now as prediction for - grab a coffee, sit back, and watch as the church of OBJ cultists angrily respond to this post, with the audacity to try and re-write history itself.
