On top of this it seems the market in general (or at least my 50 share portfolio) has been hit quite hard over the past few weeks so this could also play into it.
Growth stocks have had a pretty good extended run, so needs to take some of the foam off the top and catch up to valuations a bit.
Or it could be a leading indicator of a recession (you heard it here first folks)
