Promulgating what has been around for ages, (HVN) both APT and ZIP, are not upsetting the RBA as much as it is hurting the likes of VISA. Because UBS are in bed with VISA ( new VIZA/UBS card out in June 2019) they take sides against the BNPL industry. The retailers don't have to provide it, they sign up for it of their own free will. Giving a 3-7% commission for a sale that would not otherwise happen they see as a good business decision.And why not? Let the retailers decide. RBA keep out.
