The only logical explanation I can think of is that instead of the US clinics receiving the two vehicle (placebo) offerings (once and twice daily), they mistakenly doubled up on 5% treatment plus vehicle for once and twice daily.
the chances of that happening would have to be very slim, but that explanation explains the weird results.
why would the the vehicle on its own dramatically improve acne , and in Americans only?!!!
the subject sizes are large...250 in US and 168 or something in Australia.
this isn’t an error of small subject numbers.
imagine if they did stuff up with the vial contents mixing?!!!!
Botanix needs to analyse the vial contents of those vehicle-only vials used in the US!
it's a long shot explanation, I know! But incompetence explains a lot of mysteries.
