Excuse my ignorance I'm in resources but our company only has some onshore deposits of oil and gas we haven't drilled yet and never been on the exploration side of things either but curious how can the seismic be so far out. So they do seismic analysis on a potential oil or gas deposit.
It sends back signals when it hits the accumulation of liquid or gas and then that determines the depth?
so how can we go from looking for a oil deposit at about 2400m to 3000m?
